Legal representatives for any interested party to an inquest are advised that the following is the practice in the Dublin District Coroner’s Court
- Inquest queries should be directed to the Court Registrars
- Legal representatives are required to come on record in writing in a timely fashion
- Requests for inquest documentation are to be made in writing
- Applications for Inquest adjournment are to be made to the Court no later than 14 days in advance of the hearing date where practicable
- If an interpreter is required for your client kindly inform the Court Registrar in writing no later than 14 days in advance of the hearing date
- In relation to Legal Aid applications kindly refer to Section 60 (5) of the Coroners Act 1962 (inserted by Section 24(b) of the Courts and Civil Law (Miscellaneous Provisions) Act 2013
- Court lists are posted on the Diary tab of the website
Limited consultation rooms are available in the Store Street and Richmond Courts, please arrange with relevant Court Registrar prior to the hearing. There are no robing requirements for Counsel.
